A second story addition and full remodel of a classic 100 year old bungalow for a young couple in Seattle’s colorful Central District.
The goal of this remodel was to make a ‘fox in sheep’s clothing.’ The exterior street elevation responds to the historic lines of the neighborhood but on the inside, the interior is a contemporary design that reflects the young owners spirited lifestyle and love of Northwest contemporary architecture. The interior is flooded with natural light from the two-story open volume in the house.
